Offline

Outsourced operations for growing businesses.

EnquireView services
[ 01 · The problem ]

Two hundred emails you haven't opened. Invoices sixty days out that nobody has chased. Order questions sitting unanswered since Friday. Reconciliation three weeks behind, so you don't actually know this month's cash position.

You already have the business. Offline keeps the operational side moving.

[ 02 · What Offline handles ]
01
Customer Operations
Inboxes, customer and order enquiries, follow-ups, scheduling and supplier communication — handled every business day
02
Financial Admin
Weekly Xero reconciliation, invoice chasing, records kept in order and a monthly cash summary

Keep doing it yourself

Cheapest on paper. It costs you the hours you should be spending on product, suppliers and growth — and it's the work that slips first when the business gets busy.

Hire someone

The right answer eventually. Before then it's recruitment, salary, superannuation, training and management for a workload that doesn't yet fill a role.

Hourly assistance

Works for one-off tasks. It still leaves you deciding what to delegate each week, briefing it, and checking it was done. The thinking stays yours.

OFFLINE is the fourth option: defined operational responsibilities handed over once, then run to a standard without being managed. See how it works

[ How It Works ]

How It Works

Four steps from first enquiry to work being handled without you thinking about it.

01
Enquire
Tell OFFLINE what is currently taking up your time.
02
Assess
A video call is set up to go through what is taking up your time, which recurring work can be handed over, and what it should look like when it's handled properly.
03
Onboard
Systems, access, priorities and communication processes are established, and the recurring work is documented so it runs the same way every month.
04
Offline
The work is handled consistently, with a regular check-in and no need to follow up.
[ The first thirty days ]
Week one

Access granted, NDA signed if required, priorities agreed. Current backlog assessed and a running order set.

Weeks two to three

Backlog cleared. Tone of voice and response templates established. Reconciliation brought current.

Week four onward

Steady state. Enquiries answered within one business day, reconciliation weekly, invoices chased to closure.

[ About ]

About

An outsourced operations function for businesses too small to hire one.

Who you're working with

OFFLINE is run by Rose. Every arrangement is handled directly — there is no account manager, no rotating team, and no work passed on to someone you haven't spoken to. You deal with one person who knows how your business runs.

Why it exists

Growing businesses reach a stage where operational work consumes the founder's week, but the volume doesn't yet justify an operations hire. The work still has to be done properly. OFFLINE holds that middle ground.

How the work is approached

Support should be invisible. Once work is handed over it should stop appearing on your list — no chasing, no reminders, no checking whether it happened. That is the standard OFFLINE works to.

What you can expect

Enquiries answered within one business day. Reconciliation weekly. Communication in your business's tone of voice. A regular check-in you don't have to initiate.

[ Confidentiality ]

Access is limited to what the agreed work requires and credentials are stored securely. Client information and business operations are treated confidentially, and an NDA can be signed before any access is granted.

[ Pricing ]

Pricing

Arrangements are built around areas of responsibility rather than a block of hours, because the work has its own rhythm — reconciliation runs weekly, an inbox needs attention every business day. The hours below are what each area genuinely takes. Rates shown are introductory and held for founding clients.

Monthly arrangements · introductory rates · AUD · 3-month minimum
01
Financial Admin
Approx. 20 hours per month

Xero reconciled weekly · invoices chased through to closure · records kept in order · a one-page cash summary each month
$900
02
Customer Operations
Approx. 40 hours per month

Inbox and order enquiries answered within one business day, in your tone of voice · follow-ups tracked to resolution · supplier communication · scheduling
$1,650
03
Full Operations
Approx. 70 hours per month

Both areas above, run end to end · roughly half of one person’s month · a single point of contact for the operational side of the business
$2,750
04
Ad-hoc
No monthly commitment

Project work, a backlog to clear, or cover during a busy period · the right option below 20 hours a month
$55 / hr
Who it's for

Established businesses where customer enquiries, order communication and financial admin recur every week and currently sit with the founder.

How the hours work

The hours describe the capacity an area realistically needs, not a task limit — nothing is counted against a stopwatch. Unused hours don't roll over unless agreed, and if volume consistently exceeds the allocation the scope is reviewed rather than quietly overrun.

Terms

All prices are in Australian dollars. Monthly arrangements carry a three-month minimum, so processes are established and handed over properly rather than restarted, then continue month to month. Ad-hoc work carries no commitment. Scope and pricing are confirmed in writing before anything starts.

Questions

01
What does Offline actually do?
OFFLINE takes over a defined set of recurring operational responsibilities: inbox and enquiry management, order and supplier communication, customer follow-ups, scheduling, weekly Xero reconciliation and invoice chasing. The work is owned rather than assigned task by task.
02
Who is it for?
Founders of established businesses — most often selling products online — who are spending their week on repetitive operational work.
03
How does the arrangement work?
A monthly arrangement against an agreed scope, so the same work is handled the same way every month without being briefed each time.
04
How much time is included?
Roughly 20 hours for financial admin, 40 for customer operations and 70 for both. The hours reflect what the work genuinely takes rather than a package size — an inbox needs daily attention, reconciliation is weekly.
05
What if I need less than 20 hours?
Then an ongoing arrangement is the wrong fit. Ad-hoc work at $55 AUD an hour covers it without a commitment — below about 20 hours a month there is not enough continuity for OFFLINE to genuinely own the work.
06
What if the volume grows?
The scope is reviewed and adjusted rather than quietly overrun. Any additional support is quoted before work proceeds.
07
Do you work remotely?
Yes — entirely, within Australian business hours.
08
What systems can you work in?
Email and shared inboxes, Xero, spreadsheets, calendars, CRMs, e-commerce platforms and helpdesk software. Your existing systems are used rather than replaced.
09
Do I need to use Xero?
No. Reconciliation is included where you use Xero. If you use something else, that part of the scope is agreed at onboarding.
10
How does onboarding work?
Week one covers access, priorities and assessing the current backlog. Weeks two and three clear that backlog and establish tone of voice and response templates. From week four the work runs at a steady state, documented so it happens the same way each month.
11
Why a three-month minimum?
Because handing work over properly takes longer than a month. The minimum means processes are established and documented rather than started and abandoned.
12
How is communication handled?
One point of contact by email, plus a regular check-in you do not have to initiate. Customer-facing communication is written in your tone of voice.
13
How is confidential information protected?
Access is limited to what the agreed work requires and credentials are stored securely. Client information and business operations are treated confidentially.
14
Is an NDA available?
Yes — signed before any access is granted, if you want one.
15
What happens after I enquire?
A reply within one business day outlining what could be taken off your plate. If it looks like a fit, a video call is set up to go through your operations in more detail and confirm scope before anything is agreed.
16
What does it cost?
Monthly arrangements start at $900 AUD for financial admin, with introductory rates held for founding clients. For each area and what it covers, view pricing.
