Offline
Outsourced operations for growing businesses.
Two hundred emails you haven't opened. Invoices sixty days out that nobody has chased. Order questions sitting unanswered since Friday. Reconciliation three weeks behind, so you don't actually know this month's cash position.
You already have the business. Offline keeps the operational side moving.
Cheapest on paper. It costs you the hours you should be spending on product, suppliers and growth — and it's the work that slips first when the business gets busy.
The right answer eventually. Before then it's recruitment, salary, superannuation, training and management for a workload that doesn't yet fill a role.
Works for one-off tasks. It still leaves you deciding what to delegate each week, briefing it, and checking it was done. The thinking stays yours.
OFFLINE is the fourth option: defined operational responsibilities handed over once, then run to a standard without being managed. See how it works
Services
Two areas of recurring operational work. Take one, or take both as a Full Operations arrangement — weighted to whatever is currently taking up the most of your week.
Customer Operations
Financial Admin
OFFLINE handles financial administration. It is not an accountant, bookkeeper of record or financial adviser, and does not provide financial advice.
Customer enquiries are answered wherever they arrive, including social platforms when necessary. OFFLINE does not provide social media management, content creation or social strategy.
How It Works
Four steps from first enquiry to work being handled without you thinking about it.
Access granted, NDA signed if required, priorities agreed. Current backlog assessed and a running order set.
Backlog cleared. Tone of voice and response templates established. Reconciliation brought current.
Steady state. Enquiries answered within one business day, reconciliation weekly, invoices chased to closure.
About
An outsourced operations function for businesses too small to hire one.
OFFLINE is run by Rose. Every arrangement is handled directly — there is no account manager, no rotating team, and no work passed on to someone you haven't spoken to. You deal with one person who knows how your business runs.
Growing businesses reach a stage where operational work consumes the founder's week, but the volume doesn't yet justify an operations hire. The work still has to be done properly. OFFLINE holds that middle ground.
Support should be invisible. Once work is handed over it should stop appearing on your list — no chasing, no reminders, no checking whether it happened. That is the standard OFFLINE works to.
Enquiries answered within one business day. Reconciliation weekly. Communication in your business's tone of voice. A regular check-in you don't have to initiate.
Access is limited to what the agreed work requires and credentials are stored securely. Client information and business operations are treated confidentially, and an NDA can be signed before any access is granted.
Pricing
Arrangements are built around areas of responsibility rather than a block of hours, because the work has its own rhythm — reconciliation runs weekly, an inbox needs attention every business day. The hours below are what each area genuinely takes. Rates shown are introductory and held for founding clients.
Xero reconciled weekly · invoices chased through to closure · records kept in order · a one-page cash summary each month
Inbox and order enquiries answered within one business day, in your tone of voice · follow-ups tracked to resolution · supplier communication · scheduling
Both areas above, run end to end · roughly half of one person’s month · a single point of contact for the operational side of the business
Project work, a backlog to clear, or cover during a busy period · the right option below 20 hours a month
Established businesses where customer enquiries, order communication and financial admin recur every week and currently sit with the founder.
The hours describe the capacity an area realistically needs, not a task limit — nothing is counted against a stopwatch. Unused hours don't roll over unless agreed, and if volume consistently exceeds the allocation the scope is reviewed rather than quietly overrun.
All prices are in Australian dollars. Monthly arrangements carry a three-month minimum, so processes are established and handed over properly rather than restarted, then continue month to month. Ad-hoc work carries no commitment. Scope and pricing are confirmed in writing before anything starts.
